In most cases we only need one or more of the following:

• a simple sketch or drawing
• a magazine/newspaper clipping
• a scanned photo
• a sample of a similar product

For something like a 3D figure we would need the front, back, top and side views as well. In all cases the more detail you provide us, the quicker we will get to the finished prototype.
